Case insensitive deserialization

Case insensitive deserialization - Growing up in Windows with BASIC you learn case doesn't matter, so Color is the same as COLOR or cOLOR when it comes to variable names. Same applies to @Formula or item names in Notes documents. On the other side, Linux, Java, JavaScript and JSON are very much case sensitive. This poses a challenge when deserializing (handcrafted) JSON files.

Verse App on Android is not “respecting” security settings from the server

Today I had a call with a customer who complained that after an upgrade of the Verse App the user was forced either to enter a 8-pin password or a 6 character alphanumeric password. The weird issue was that we forced the user only to have a 6 digit numeric password set on the device in the settings of the HCL Traveler server. After opening a case at HCL we received the information that Google required changes to the Device administration for Android 10 and above devices. There´s also an entry in the HCL Knowledge Base describing the complete issue.

I am currently sitting in my hotel room near Amsterdam Schipol airport. I missed my flight in the morning because the Dutch train canceled several connections and the train I was in finally also had delays due to technical issues on the track. Another delay resulted in the need to change the train at Amsterdam Central. Anyway, I didn't make it in time, I was about 1 hour late. But why I am here?

Although Day 1 was long, the start of Day 2, which was already at 8 am, did not allow much rest. The composition of the program did not allow a thorough tour of the zoo, but Burgers’ Ocean really surprised me.

Connections has found a new home at HCL. Alongside the transition, the Product Management team has worked hard to release a new version of Connections (Connections 6.5) with new features and has announced a bigger release, version 7. Digital Experience has followed the same pattern with the 9.5 release in 2019 and a big new release in 2020 with version 10.
